First time around the lap it was pretty terrifying! It was big drop after big drop with rocks everywhere (stay off the brakes!). After you got used to it though it was a lot of fun. A great course.
I'm an Elite level cyclist and will be riding for Team TIBCO for the 2013 season. I've started with mountain biking in 2007, but made the full switch to road cycling in 2012. I'm German and Irish and I live in Dublin, Ireland where I've just finished my PhD in Health Informatics in Trinity College Dublin.
I'm standing at the top and asking myself how the hell I am going to get down this bit.

one of the rare cases that the photo looks worst than it actually is!
In any case you should stop worrying, we've changed a bit that part of the course and I believe that now is much more rideable and has better flow.
